Used for centuries, it incorporates the use of essential oils for a therapeutic benefit. It includes the use of natural oils extracted from flowers, bark, stems, leaves, roots or other parts of a plant to enhance psychological and physical well-being.  The inhaled aroma is believed to stimulate brain function.  When inhaled, the scent molecules travel from the olfactory nerves directly to the brain to impact the amygdala, the emotional center of the brain.

Aromatherapy Benefits:

Relieves anxiety and depression, improves mood and clears sinuses, sets the tone of your room (think: relaxing or energetic), and improves sleep.
